I saw this pattern the other day and really wanted to make these. They are made with 100% cashmere. Knitting with cashmere was fun. I really like how they turned out. Although I am knitting christmas presents right now, I am keeping these. ;)

Xanax Cowl

Went to the yarn store (www.loopsknitting.com) and found this "kit" called Xanax Cowl. The kit came with yarn, the pattern, and buttons. Was a quick knit and is SUPER warm.

Strawberry Baby Mittens

I found a free pattern for baby mittens. I had some of the yarn from the strawberry hat leftover so I thought I would try it. It is my first project done completely on double pointed needles. They did not turn out as well as I would have liked but they are not bad.

I decided to knit my first baby hat. Of course I could not start with a simple pattern. Instead, I started with this Spud and Chloe "Very Berry Hat" pattern. A friend of mine has a new little girl so I thought this would be cute.

Even though the pattern says the completed hat will fit 0-6 months, it is a little closer to 6 months. It was a little big on her. :)

Noro Cowl

I was looking for a project and someone at Loops (www.loopsknitting.com)suggested this "Noro Cowl". It was a really easy pattern. I think it turned out well.

Zig Zag Cowl

I found this free pattern on the Spud & Chloe website and thought it would be a good first cowl. I like the zig zag pattern!
